Orthodontics involves teeth straightening and jaw alignment, combining beauty and function. Identifying problems early in development may allow easier treatment with better results, but it’s never too late to discuss ways to enhance a smile!

Orthodontics can be used to correct malocclusions, which literally means a “bad bite”. Orthodontics can bring your teeth into proper alignment which can give you a broader, straighter smile. We start the orthodontic evaluation by age 7.

Traditionally, orthodontics did not start until all the permanent teeth have fully erupted. We now can start a first phase that will take advantage of growth to bring teeth into the proper position in the arch.

We can then utilize brackets or Invisalign to align the teeth in the arch. Both children and adults can benefit from the advantages of orthodontics.

Invisalign® is a system that allows us to straighten your teeth without the use of metal brackets and wires of traditional braces. This system uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten and reposition teeth. These smooth, comfortable aligners are virtually invisible to those around you.

They are also removable, which makes them easier to clean after eating. Treatment typically takes nine to 15 months to complete orthodontic treatment with Invisalign, during which time several aligners are used. After a thorough exam, we will determine if Invisalign is right for you.
